This is an excellent book for the understanding and mindset of what kemetic philosophy really entails and how all other religions adopted the spiritual framework of ancient Kemet, and the steps to take toward true spiritual enlightenment. To correct one reviewer it must be understood that to get the true understanding of a philosophy you must delve into its esoteric base which ends with enlightenment and awareness of self. Even though it's never presented to the masses, that goes for masonry, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Hebrew, Rosicrucianism, and any other philosophy of the world. The masses are to believe in different symbols as actual representing gods and beings when actuality they are tools to make the mind understand the truth about creator and how it isn't separate or outside of self but is self and everything that exist. Even though Muata Ashby has his degree, he focuses on what The book is really about and not the unnecessary speculation. When you are looking for western academic sources trying to understand an ancient culture you are no different than a Christian looking for jesus or Muslim looking for allah, lost in the myth of the scripture

This is a phenomenal teaching of the wisdom of the Pert m Hru. There are keys for enlightenment contained within the pages of this book. It is suggested that one attain a copy of the book "African religion vol.4 Asarian Theology" by the same author that will assist in a better understanding of the meanings of passages of this book.
This book is filled with wonderful information about the Egyptian culture and their religion. IT IS NOT a fast read. It is also filled with pictures to further help you understand.
